Postage Stamp Mudi
The Mudi is on a postage stamp in Hungary! It is also on the cover on the Magyar Posta Katalógus 2004 of collectors stamps! The Mudi was commemorated as one of the 9 Hungarian breeds that were made National Treasures this year in Hungary. The four breeds given a place on the stamp were the Puli, the Magyar Agar, the Mudi and the Vizsla. This is the first time the Mudi has appeared on a Hungarian stamp.

The MEOE MMK is the Parent Club for the
Mudi breed in Hungary.

A new MEOE President was elected in June 2006, András Korózs. The AMA President met with him shortly after he was elected to introduce the AMA to him. Both Mr. Korózs and the MEOE recognize and support the AMA as the one National Breed Club for the Mudi in America that is affiliated with the MEOE and the MEOE MMK, same as his predecessor did.
